Gordon Snelgrove Gallery
Gordon Snelgrove Gallery is located on the first level (Room 191) of the Murray Building and is managed through the Department of Art and Art History. The Gallery supports program and course instruction, student directed activity, community extension development, and art history and art education programs offered through the Department. The multi-purpose exhibition facility provides space for graduating exhibitions (M.F.A. and B.F.A.), student group shows, individual student projects, and special exhibitions including artists, curators, educators and partnering arts organizations within the wider professional community.
In addition, the Gallery is responsible for the acquisition, care, documentation and exhibition of works held in the Gordon Snelgrove Gallery Collection. These are donated works acquired from M.F.A. and eligible B.F.A. graduating shows. The Gallery maintains its own web site which features an accumulative record of presentation activity, primarily graduating exhibitions.
