Three Day Road

This award-winning novel tells of the reunion of a soldier and his aunt, the last Oji-Cree medicine woman, shortly after the end of the Great War in 1919. The novel interweaves the brutality of the trenches with the lushness of the Canadian north as it explores the worldviews represented by each.
