RUP students enter national community design competition
In
Fall 2008 senior students in the RUP Program, led by Mr. Lorne Sully MCIP,
entered the Clear Vistas Design Competition, competing against four other
teams from across Canada. The competition centred on a proposed new
community in the RM of Edenwold, SK.

Comments to ‘Team Saskatchewan’:
“The judges appreciated a great deal in your submission. For one thing, your connection between the two creeks was an innovative approach that would avoid additional costly construction to expand the culvert under the railway. Your design incorporated green spaces throughout the development. The division among the different neighbourhoods was thoughtfully conceived, and included a good distribution of high-value bays and short streets.”
